What to pack for Albania
Layers, shoes, and the things people forget until they need them.
Footwear: comfortable walking shoes for cobblestone towns; proper hiking boots if you are doing Theth–Valbona or long ridge walks.
Layers: mountains can be 15°C cooler than the coast on the same day. A light rain jacket is useful year-round.
Sun: high SPF for the coast; hat and sunglasses for boat days.
Power: Type C and F plugs (European two-pin). Pack a universal adapter.
Documents: passport, driving licence, insurance printout, and booking confirmations offline. Swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, and a dry bag if you are doing boat tours.
