Passport required for SIM registration at Vodafone or One (formerly Telekom Albania) shops. Prepaid packages with 20–50 GB are typical for a week and cost very little compared to roaming.
4G covers the coast highway, Tirana, and major towns. Mountain valleys and remote passes can drop to 3G or lose signal entirely.
